ANDREAS PICHLER
DIRECTOR
Born 1967 in Alto Adige; a borderline Italian, Andreas Pichler has studied philosophy and culture studies in Bologna and in Berlin and is now continuously working in Germany, Italy and Austria as director and author of documentaries. His films have been shown at many international festivals and european TV stations such as: ZDF, ORF, ARTE, 3 Sat, YLE, SVT, RAI, Ikon Netherland, Denmark 2, SWR, SRG, TSI. Speaks fluently German, Italian, English, well Spanish and some French. In 2004 he was awarded with the renowned German “Grimme Award”.
